Meet Rumett Team

Rumett journey started in 2020 with a bachelor research project with a vision to innovate within the plasterboard industry, and leveraging mineral waste materials. Not only did Diana want to create a new product, but wanted to make a difference for people struggling around the workd. During her days working with NGO’s she witnessed large sections of a refugee camp burn to the ground. She had observed how temporary refugee shelters were constructed and concluded that they needed to be safer from fire risk.

And so she formed Rumett, and started working to incorporate mineral waste in material compositions as a way to find a solution to the fire risks posed by construction materials used in the construction of the refugee camps. Since then, the European market for construction materials has changed quite a bit, and is now looking to expand with more sustainable solutions. This has created a large space for Rumett to flourish in, including larger expansions in the team and development of new solutions which are expected in Rumetts future.

Diana leads the operations and on going projects. Main roles are project management, communication and administration which she excels at through 5 years of experience at large scale NGO projects. 

Diana has a solid understanding of the regulatory requirements and movements within the construction industry

Taha Saleh

MA in Materials and Manufacturing from DTU.

Taha is in charge of developing new products and managing production. He started by creating a testing process for their materials and is dedicated to Rumett’s mission to make a difference.He has a deep knowledge in developing and optimizing the technical properties of the product, Ensuring we get necessary certifications and keeping long term production processes in mind.

Jesper Frost

Research

MA in applied philosophy and cultural studies.

Jesper oversees a wide range of projects in terms of stagedy, analysis and communication. His analytical skills of regulatory frameworks are instrumental as we navigate through complex regulations like ESG, EU taxonomy, and competition practices. Streamlining our operational pathways, Jesper’s role is pivotal in conducting comprehensive overviews and contributing to the development of our upcoming projects.
