The contact form asks for your name (optional), your email address and your message. If you arrive from Vela, Build your wall or Price your wall, the message is pre-filled with the product, finish, size or area you chose, and you can edit it before sending.
When you send the form, the website also records the date and time, the address of the page you sent it from, your browser’s technical description (user agent) and your IP address.

We use this information to answer your enquiry, send samples, prepare a quotation and follow up on the conversation you started.
Where you ask for samples, a quotation or an order, we process your data to take steps you have requested before a possible contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). For other enquiries, and for recording the technical details that help keep the form secure, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and running the website safely (Article 6(1)(f)).
The website, its database and Rumett’s email are hosted by Simply.com, which processes the data on our behalf. Simply.com keeps its servers, data and backups in Denmark. It takes daily backups of the website, database and email, and keeps each backup for 30 days. Like any web host, its servers also record technical request data (IP address, browser and the page requested) to operate and protect the service.
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing.
We keep your enquiry for as long as we need it to answer you and to handle any project, quotation or order that follows from it, and for as long as the law requires us to keep business records such as bookkeeping. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it. Copies can also remain in website backups until those backups are replaced or deleted.
The website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. While you write an enquiry, your browser may temporarily keep the text in its session storage so it is not lost; see Cookies.
You can ask for access to the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. Write to info@rumett.dk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
We update this policy when the way the website handles personal data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
